Indeed it is, cute cow.

36_mposter_front-e1383821335133I have the privilege of being wife to an amazing man. When we got married, he made me mom to 2 great kids and we were later blessed with 2 more.  We have a big doofy dog and we dream of owning a little homestead of our own where goats and chickens will roam.

I work part time at my church and volunteer for various organizations in my little town. I used to spend my days climbing the corporate ladder and now I build ladders (and other random stuff) out of old pallets and whatever else I find, lying around in other people’s trash.  I enjoy my life now far more than I ever did then.

I hope this blog inspires you, makes you laugh, challenges you and gives you hope!  I intend for this to be a place of encouragement, growth and joy for you and me.

I love when people stop by and read but I’m absolutely over-the-moon when they join in the conversation.  Please know that you are always welcome to comment, or to email me at  You can also find me on Facebook and Twitter

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to share a part of your day with me!

  1. Hi there,

I’m really glad you found my blog http://reflectionsofchina.wordpresscom via a reblog from one of my followers and you took the time to leave a like for one of my images of the forbidden city in Beijing, so thanks for that, it is appreciated 🙂 If you have time, please take a look at my other photo blog this site is for images i take in other countries around the world as I travel. I do hope you like that site too :)…You have a really nice blog here, with some really interesting works of art, so I will follow and take my time to enjoy your world. Thanks again and Regards Mark.

  2. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your webpage?
My website is in the very same niche as yours and my visitors would genuinely benefit from some of the information you present here.
Please let me know if this alright with you. Appreciate it!

    • That’s awesome! You are the 2nd person I’ve encountered, just in the past few days, from Benson. We are in Michigan now but my husband I met in Tombstone. He worked at Big Nose Kate’s and I worked at Diamond Jim’s. It was a match made in Heaven. We used to go for $7 steak dinners at the Chute-out on our date nights. 😀

  3. I saw you were having image upload problems on wordpress about six months ago and I am having the same problems. I have been scouring the support forums but they are not very helpful. I saw that you were having similar technical difficulties and was wondering how you solved them? Sorry to post about something other than your save the world topics. Thanks in advance for any insight.

    • I’m happy to help, but I’m afraid I don’t have much sage advice. I had a LOT of issues with EVERYTHING when I migrated so I don’t remember exactly what I posted on the forum. I do know that the photos in my older posts didn’t show up. They were all in my media library but not visible in my posts. The only fix I found was a long, tedious process of going back and editing the posts – removing the images and re-inserting them from the media library. I started with my most popular posts and worked from there. I’m sure there are still a few that never got fixed but no one seems to be looking at those anyway. 😛 I wish I had a more helpful answer for you!
